1. The process is different
The biggest difference between the two applications is that the process is different. The application of DTF premium is to print the ink on the heat transfer film, and then sprinkle a layer of hot melt powder on the surface of the heat transfer film, and then apply the color by pressing; while the application of direct spray paint ink is directly Printing on the fabric, the fabric often needs to be used together with pre- and post-treatment fluids for better color and color fastness during the printing process. 2. Feel different

This is because there is a layer of hot-melt powder between the ink and the fabric in DTF premium application. The hot-melt powder is used as a binder and transferred to the fabric together with the ink. The natural feel is relatively worse than that of direct coating application. The ink used for direct paint injection is directly printed on the fabric, so there is generally no problem with the hand feel. In terms of feel, the direct injection application of paint has obvious advantages. On the other hand, with the maturity of the application of DTF premium technology, the application performance of hot melt powder has improved, and the finished product made by DTF premium application can also meet the needs of market customers.
3. Color expression and fastness are not the same
In terms of color expressiveness, the DTF premium application is better. Similarly, in terms of fastness, the DTF premium application also performs better. In order to improve the color and fastness of paint direct injection, it often needs to cooperate with pre- and post-treatment liquids to achieve better results, while DTF premium uses hot-melt powder to perfectly solve the problem of color and fastness. The hot-melt powder is used as a binder to perfectly combine the paint ink with the fabric, and the color expressiveness and fastness after color development are excellent. The problem of color and fastness in the application of direct injection of paint is very troublesome. Using hot-melt powder as an intermediate medium makes the paint ink and fabric fit well, which perfectly solves the long-standing problem of color and fastness in the application of direct injection of paint .
4. The cost of the scheme is different
At present, Epson 4720 nozzles are still the main application machines for DTF premium applications, while industrial nozzles are the main application machines for direct paint injection, and the machine costs for the two applications are quite different. In terms of ink price, the price of DTF premium ink for 4720 machine is also cheaper than that of ink for direct coating application. The cost of the DTF premium application solution is the heat transfer film, and the price of the heat transfer film is also dropping. Overall, the cost of the DTF premium application solution is lower than that of the direct coating application. The DTF premium application scheme has low investment threshold, simple process, easy entry and replication, so it develops rapidly and becomes popular in a short period of time.
